The dancehall music genre is one that sees a lot of feuds/beef just like the rap space.
The musicians in the dancehall industry usually want to battle it out for supremacy and the bragging rights.
The Mavado vs. Popcaan, Bounty Killer vs. Supercat, Aidonia vs. Busy Signal, Beenie Man vs. Mavado, Vybz Kartel/Bounty Killer vs. Ninja Man are a few of the popular ones which quickly come into mind any time dancehall feuds are discussed.
From the look of things, the 2017 near feud between Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall musicians, Jupitar and Stonebwoy after the latter dropped his song ‘Migraine’ might finally happen soon.
In a tweet from Jupitar sighted by zionfelix.net, he drops a shade for the Bhim Nation president.
According to Jupitar, Stonebwoy cannot match him if there is ever a lyrical battle for them on a riddim.
He tweeted: “I keep saying, I don’t have to touch or diss anyone for fame and money when I already have all dat..big man taak.. this morning I see this ” stone crash Jupitar ” and in ghana no Bwoy can crash me and they know.. so don’t twist things ya way“
This shade from Jupiter comes at the back of the analysis panelists of Zylofon FM’s ‘Showbiz Agenda’ show did after they listened to their works which forms part of JMJ’s ‘Riddim Of the Gods’ Project.
It should be noted that their submission according to Jupiter favored Stonebwoy, which to him is a fallacy.
Yo @zylofon1021fm pundits.. keep your partial judgement.. you really think @stonebwoyb can crash me on a riddim???? General… a mi govern this
