All is not well with some celebrities who pushed the agenda of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2016 general election which brought the ruling government into power.

Zionfelix.net gathers that a group has emerged from Creative Arts For Change, a union of celebrities who endorsed NPP ahead of last year’s election. The stars who call themselves Concerned Members of Creative Arts For Change according to information available to us is not happy about how the ruling government is treating celebrities who publicly endorsed and campaigned for the party.

The group, we are told is peeved at the Nana Addo-led government for neglecting them after the party came into power. According to our informant, Concerned Members of Creative Arts For Change say they have not had the chance to meet any government official to appreciate their work during the campaign season left alone listen to their plea. To them, the Minister for Tourism Arts and Culture, Hon. Catherine Afeku should have met them by now even if the president is busy but there is no sign of inviting them for a discussion after six months of governing the country. These stars believe their message to the people of Ghana helped in the party’s win so they need to be heard for their promises to the public to be fulfilled else things will be difficult for them in 2020.

The group we hear has petitioned top government officials and is waiting for a reply.

Again, Concerned Members of Creative Arts for Change we hear are not happy about how the government is treating movie producer Socrate Safo after it went viral that an unknown lady is claiming his position at the National Commission on Culture. According to them, Socrate’s effort during the campaign season does not need this result hence their plea for the government to take immediate action to help the movie producer if the rumour is true.
