Shatta Wale in an interview on TV3 with MzGee earlier this morning heavily jabbed the acclaimed “the Godfather of Hiplife” in Ghana, Reggie Rockstone as he sought to take on Sarkodie for dropping a diss song at a time the world is dealing with COVID-19.
In the heat of the interview, zionfelix.net monitored, Shatta Wale stated that if blame should be given to anybody for Sarkodie‘s display of childishness and unkindness by releasing his ‘Sub Zero’ on Monday, April 6, then it should be Reggie Rockstone.
He added that if Reggie Rockstone had not introduced Hiplife in Ghana back in the ’90s this whole drama from Sarkodie wouldn’t have been witnessed.
Shatta Wale also branded Reggie Rockstone as an underachiever because after forcing to introduce the genre of music in Ghana, he has nothing tangible to show for in the last two decades.
Well, his comment has received a reaction from the Hiplife Grandpapa.
On his Twitter page, a fan wrote this: “Granpa… Some oluu say you no take rap do shele for the Ghana here. 1 La palm for him anaa?“
The “Asabone” hitmaker quickly replied with a video suggesting that he will slap Shatta Wale for passing that needless comment.
