In 2018, Sarkodie literally touched the lives of ten very talented and great rappers and put them all on ‘Bibii Ba’, a song that has been touted by many as one of the best cyphers in the Ghanaians music space.
The song that features youngsters; Lyrical Joe, Tulenkey, Frequency, Kofi Mole, Toy Boi, Yeyo, Amerado, 2 Fyngers, O’bkay and CJ Biggerman also had another fast-rising and a young Ghanaian music video director, Babs Direction doing magic with the video shoot.
In the wake of Sarkodie’s beef with ASem, Ball J and Shatta Wale plus flying stories he (Sarkodie) is stingy and wicked for not giving out any freebies to his fans and followers during this period of the coronavirus pandemic, Babs Direction has revealed that Sarkodie overpaid him for that particular job.
In a tweet from him sighted by zionfelix.net, he disclosed that even though the SarkCess Music label boss had already paid him for the job, he added extra money after the video came out.
Babs also added that Sarkodie called him a few days later and handed him the plaque for the “Best HipHop Video” which was won at the 2019 4Syte Music Video Awards.
