For the 2020 edition of 3Music Awards, 3 Media, the organizers of the awards ceremony decided to change the voting pattern used in the 2018 and 2019 editions.
Whereas the fans had the biggest say in the previous editions, the situation was not the same this year because the Board and Academy were given 30% each of the total 100%, leaving 40% for the fans.
After a very successful virtual concert on Saturday night, that saw Sarkodie picking most of the awards and Kofi Kinaata taking home the topmost award, how some members of the board/academy voted has surfaced online.

These votes were sighted by zionfelix.net on the Facebook wall of entertainment critic Ricky Rick, who happens to be a part of the people at the helm of affairs when it comes to the event.
