Award-winning comedian, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, famed as Funny Face, has indicated that he would not endorse any betting or alcoholic company with his brand.
While speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra-based Accra FM, Funny Face noted that even though he was open to taking money from such companies, it would not be for the purposes of endorsing them.

He added that looking at the role he plays as the “Children’s president”, he could not be seen using his delicate brand to promote betting or the intake of alcohol.
According to the Kasoa Trotro star, he was once contacted by someone to endorse a betting company but he outrightly turned down the offer.
Asked why he brushed off a big money deal to promote the said betting company, Funny Face the person who brought him the gig did not have a good spirit.

He added that the move to turn down the deal almost brought a misunderstanding between him and the person. He however refused to mentioned the name of the person on air.
Funny Face then went on to set the records straight by saying that if the money coming from such companies was to aid him grow his foundation that promotes the welfare of kids, he was not going to turn it down.
Funny Face gave that as the only condition on which he would consider a deal with a betting company, alcoholic drink or a condom company.
