Several top Ghanaian celebrities raided this year’s International Youth Empowerment Summit (iYes) to empower the youth.
The event put together by Pastor Brain Amoateng saw several Ghanaians attending the three-day event. Known figres who spoke to the youth at iYes 2017 included Jackie Appiah, Joselyn Dumas, Sonnie Badu, Funny Face, Coded of 4×4 music ggroup, Ama K Abebrese, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Desmond Elliot and many others.
Musicians who also peformed at the event included Cecce Twum, Yaw Sarpong and Asumafo and many others.
iYES was born from the experiences of the President, Pastor Brain Amoateng, in his days at University Ghana as a student evangelist after receiving Jesus Christ as his Lord.
The traditional church style in various denominations makes it difficult for them to accept the new energy and exposure of the younger generation. Resulting in Isolation, which makes the youth fall into their own thoughts and eventually become a prey of exploits by the world and it enticing influence.
