Outspoken Member of Parliament for the Assin Central Constituency, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has been captured on camera sleeping at president Nana Akufo-Addo‘s last State Of Nation Address (SONA 2021).

In line with the laws of Ghana, the incumbent president addresses the nation before the inauguration of another Parliament after their mandated four-year tenure.

Against this backdrop, President Akufo-Addo yesterday, January 5, 2021, gave his last State of The Nation Address in the 7th Parliament.

Among the many highlights, the address has received so far online, a new photo of popular MP, Kennedy Agyapong seemingly sleeping during Akufo-Addo’s delivery in parliament.

In the photo that is trending online, Kennedy Agyapong was seen seated at the back flanked by Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and some other dignitaries.

Kennedy Agyapong appeared to be slouching in his seat as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo delivered his final State of the Nation Address of the 7th Parliament of Ghana’s 4th Republic.

The outspoken Assin Central MP was seen wearing an African print while observing strict COVID-19 protocols in the hall but a careful look at the photo shows that his eyes were actually closed.
