Ghanaian political and social commentator, Kwame Asare Obeng, well known as A Plus, has berated people who are insinuating that the owner of the defunct UT Bank is broke after his new photo surfaced online.
In this photo going viral, Mr Kofi Amoabong donned a T-Shirt and a cap with an unshaved beard.

Many people who commented on the photo implied he is having financial stress after his investment collapsed.
A Plus, who was not happy about the discussions about Mr Amoabeng in a post sighted by Zionfelix.net chided these interpreters.

After a critical look, A Plus said many of those making such comments are not rich and a broke Kofi Amoabeng is richer than them and their entire family.
He wrote on Facebook: “Just because someone decides not to shave means he is broke? Even if he is broke are you rich? Have you ever been rich? A broke Kofi Amoabeng is richer than you and your father father father father. ”
