Celebrating his 75th birthday milestone, veteran actor Fred Amugi launched his book, ‘Beacon of Hope’, sharing a compelling narrative of his transformation from pain and disappointment to resilience and optimism.
During the launch event at Accra Mall, the legendary actor shared his life’s journey, describing it as a tumultuous yet enlightening ride.
Contrary to assumptions of amassed wealth and ease due to his extensive time in the public eye, Amugi unveiled the challenging, winding path he traversed, asserting that a significant portion of his 75 years has been anything but smooth.
Mr. Fred Amugi also attributed his resilience to humility and the continual grace of God, humorously remarking on his physical fitness and enduring charm at his age, crediting it to the same divine grace.
The star-studded occasion saw the presence of luminaries like Yvonne Nelson, Prince David Osei, Kalsoume Sinare, IGP Dampare, Abeiku Santana, Peter Richie, Andy Dost, Fiifi Coleman, and Rabby Bray, who supported the launch by purchasing copies of the book.
