Veteran Ghanaian gospel musician, Cindy Thompson has spoken against Mmebusem’s latest video in which he was mimicking Jesus Christ.
Speaking in an interview with Accra FM’s Nana Romeo which was monitored by zionfelix.net, Cindy condemned the actor’s action.
She said it is not right for him to use Jesus’ name in vain.
“What is his reason? If it is for people to laugh then what he is doing is not right. Because whatever we do in the name of Christ must uplift his image. If he is to do it in the right way…God will use him to win more souls for the Kingdom,” the Kwankyerefo Jesus singer stated.
“He should advise himself…if he didn’t receive any directives from God through prayers to act that way, then he should be careful because nobody can be like Christ. If God has given him the talent to act, there are so many things he can act about but not to mimic Jesus Christ in a fun way,” Cindy Thompson added.
After the video went viral, a section of Ghanaians has eulogized Mmebusem for his creativity while others, mainly Christians are condemning his action.
