Comedienne and media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger rocked her entrepreneurial boots perfectly when she among other celebrated Ghanaians hosted some selected youth to educate them on the things they can do in order to achieve great things as up and coming entrepreneurs.
Speaking at the ‘International Multipurpose Forum and Networking’ which was hosted in Rockstone’s Office on March 6 and put together by Dr. Ann Sansa Daly from America, the controversial media personality told the participants that the one thing they can do in other to become great entrepreneurs is to make sure they don’t allow people to draw the back with their lies, negative energy and backbiting.
The mother of three also added that she was born a hustler and at the age of 10, she started selling table cloth and napkins after school for her mother.
“I was my mother’s business partner…when my mum cuts the curtains and table cloth, I wash and iron them myself. When I come back from school, I carry them around our neighborhood to sell. If my mom asks me to sell it, for 1 cedi, I added an extra 1 cedi and sold them for 2 cedis,” Afia stated.
Afia Schwarzenegger encouraged the youth to start something small, learn to save, and avoid gossiping about people because it is the best way they can survive in this country which is gradually being destroyed by politicians.
Award-winning musician and Hiplife ‘Grand Papa’, Reggie Rockstone who was also a speaker at the event used his childhood experience and journey to starting a revolution in Ghana with regards to the Hiplife genre of music to inspire the youth to make sure they don’t give up on their dreams.
