Bullet, the manager of late Ghanaian musician, Ebony has revealed that American singer, songwriter, businessman, record producer and actor of Senegalese descent, Akon wanted to sign the late musician on his record label, Konvict Music.
Speaking to Abeiku Santana Monday evening on Okay FM, he revealed that the ‘Sponsor’ hitmaker was aware of the possible deal her team was negotiating with R&B artiste. He added that they received emails from Akon’s camp concerning the mega deal but death could not make the contract possible.
According to Bullet, the Konvict Music deal was worth more than $100,000 so he cannot fathom why Zylofon Media would think of approaching him with that meager amount to take his A-list artiste away. Bullet, a member of Ruff and Smooth and head of the songstress’ management team maintained that they invested more than $200,000 into the musician before her demise so $100,000 was not enough to bail her out.
Ebony real name Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng died on February 8 when returning from Sunyani after a family visit.
