Highlife legend, Rex Omar, who also serves as the Chairperson of Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO), has recently announced his plans to take legal action against veteran musician, Akosua Agyapong.
This decision comes in response to Akosua Agyapong consistently labeling him as a thief over the past five years.
In a recent interview with Amansan Krakye, Rex Omar HINTED that he would pursue a lawsuit against Akosua Agyapong to challenge the baseless accusations she has made.
He firmly believes that she must be held accountable for her actions and should provide concrete evidence in court to substantiate her claims of him embezzling funds from GHAMRO.
“Akosua Agyapong says I’m a thief and I have stolen money belonging to GHAMRO and she has been accusing me consistently for the past five years,”
This legal action is seen as a crucial step for Rex Omar to protect his reputation, as well as uphold the integrity of GHAMRO.
By seeking justice through the judicial system, he aims to put an end to the ongoing defamation and restore his name from the damaging allegations made by Akosua Agyapong.
