Film director and creative writer, Peter Sedufia has reacted to the criticisms targeted at the ‘Aloe Vera’ movie.
‘Aloe Vera’ started streaming on Netflix not long ago.
While some movie lovers have given positive ratings, others think otherwise.
Some critics have said it is a foolish movie.

In a post on Facebook, the producer of ‘Aloe Vera’, Peter Sedufia admitted that it is a foolish movie.
He sarcastically stated that it is for fun.
Peter was however happy about the positive comments passed by some people who have watched it.
He wrote: “Eei this morning, I took some time to check out what people are saying about #Aloevera on twitter. Chale, if you don’t have a thick skin for some of the comments, herh! Hahaha.
Some people said it’s Cocomelon, kiddie movie, cantata, etc.
Someone even said he was rating it low because it’s “star studded”. Ah!
I have said myself before that AloeVera is a “foolish” movie, so people should watch for the fun of it. But no, my Ghanaian folks are looking for “thick” plots to move mountains. Lol. Not every filmmaker is interested in that. I just wanted to have fun making a visually pleasing movie. I made the movie child friendly. That’s why it’s rated 7+. It should have even been 5+ or universal. And oh, it’s comedy, romance and musical.
Not to lose sight of the fact that issues of tribal conflict, racism and border conflicts which are universal subjects were addressed with satire.
But of course, not every adult would enjoy a movie that targets children too, so, I perfectly understood them. By the way, the positives were more than the negatives, so we move… lol.”
