American rapper, Ace Hood has refuted claims that he contacted the agent of Sarkodie before they collaborated on the ‘New Guy’ song.
The prolific Ghanaian rapper in an interview on Starr FM some years ago averred the collaboration was facilitated after Ace Hood’s contact to his agent in the United States of America.

Years after the song was released and Sarkodie’s assertion, a Twitter user shared a video of the Ghanaian rapper talking about how the collaboration came into being—and tagged him as a liar.
Ace Hood then reacted to the post after he was mentioned.
He wrote: “It’s a lie smh. But I wish him well.”
Sarkodie’s ‘New Guy’ which featured Ace Hood attracted a lot of controversies after some music fans alleged he paid a huge sum of money before he got the latter to be on the song released in 2015.

However, the comments about him paying the American rapper seized following his claims that Ace Hood contacted his agent.
As a matter of urgency, Sarkodie needs to come out and set the records straight—his brand is a huge one; silence on his part would make people believe he indeed lied.
I think he will still earn the respect of many if he boldly admits that there were some inconsistencies in the information he got from his agent.
