Renowned Ghanaian blogger, Ameyaw Debrah, has revealed how he nearly lost his first child, Nathan.
Speaking to Anthony Dzamefe on the ‘A Father’s Day Out’ show, Ameyaw divulged there were some complications when his wife was being delivered of their son in a United States hospital in 2017.
The date they expected to receive their son passed. He missed a lot of calls from his mother-in-law when he left home to watch the Miss Universe Beauty Pageant in Las Vegas one day.
“After the pageant, because I have a flight in the morning, I placed my phone on silent and set the alarm so I could wake up early. When I woke up to check my phone, I had all these missed calls from my mother-in-law that my wife was in labour,” he said.

Mr Kissi Debrah said the good news of the birth of his son was announced to him when he was on his way to the hospital.
After reaching the hospital, he was informed about the complications that ensued before his wife was safely delivered through a cesarean section because of a delay in delivery.
He revealed that his son was in critical condition after the medical officers realized that faecal matter had entered his nose following his poop.
Ameyaw Debrah was happy his son survived and has now grown into a healthy and lovely boy.
