An old video of Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, prophesying about the demise of Ghana’s deputy finance minister and Member of Parliament for Ejisu Constituency, John Kumah, has resurfaced online following the shocking news of John Kumah’s passing today, March 7, 2024.
The prophecy in question was one of many delivered by Prophet Nigel Gaisie during his December 31st all-night service at his church.

In the video, Prophet Nigel Gaisie was seen cautioning John Kumah to be vigilant, highlighting that some individuals harbored sinister intentions to terminate his life due to his significant strides in the political arena.
Despite this caution, the former MP tragically met his demise earlier.
According to a report by asaaseradio.com, a source close to the family has confirmed the untimely passing of the Deputy Finance Minister, who also served as the Member of Parliament for Ejisu, situated in the Ashanti Region.
While the exact cause of John Kumah’s death remains unconfirmed, preliminary sources suggest that he had been battling an undisclosed illness. At 45 years old, Kumah’s sudden departure left a void in political and entrepreneurial circles.
Renowned for his contributions and potential within the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Kumah was hailed as a rising star, with some factions within the party even considering him a potential running mate to the esteemed Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. His recent landslide victory in the party’s parliamentary primaries underscored his popularity and support among constituents, securing his candidacy for the upcoming general elections.
Beyond his political endeavors, John Kumah was a multifaceted individual, known not only as a politician but also as an entrepreneur, preacher, and lawyer. His tenure as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) prior to his parliamentary stint showcased his commitment to fostering economic growth and innovation within Ghana.
In the wake of his passing, John Kumah leaves behind his grieving wife, Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah, and their six children.
