Ghanaian actor, satirist and author, Kwaku Sintim-Misa popularly known as KSM has waded in into the cedi depreciation debate.
The respected satirist alluded to the fact that trying to arrest the dollar is a joke and won’t work.
KSM said what should be done to minimize the situation is tackling the cedi and not the dollar.
He made his take on the matter known in a tweet.
Arresting the dollar has become known in Ghanaian parlance as managing the cedi properly to reduce depreciation against the dollar.
KSM sarcastically suggested to managers of the economy that the right thing to do is to focus attention on the cedi, arrest it and devalue it till it regains its value.
