Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Richard Kwasi Siaw Afrofi, well known as Ex Doe, has revealed the negative impact of beefs in the music industry.
Ex Doe, who is also known for his beef with Chicago and Reggie Rockstone, advised against artistes beefing among themselves.
He said these artistes will live to regret their actions if they engage in such activities.
“Certainly beef makers do get a lot of attention and people do exploit the situation and make all sorts of negative comments which would stay with you forever.
“Some rivalries over the past years have not ended well has created some kind of hatred between artistes and their fan base. So any artiste involved in beefing will have to pay a huge price to someday regardless of the temporary fame or attention they get.
“Till now, people remember my beef with Chicago and Reggie Rockstone than some good music I did in back in the ’90s,’’ Ex Doe told GNA in an interview.

He believes beefs among artistes in the country had contributed to the retrogressing of the Ghanaian music industry.
“It is true as artiste we must be creative sometimes but getting creative through creating rivalries doesn’t help the development of our music.
“Anytime you do music targeting each other would certainly not go far and stay within your borders. Nigerian music has gone far because they don’t create any unnecessary rivalries but help each other thrive for the overall benefit of their industry,’’ the Daavi Medekuku composer stated.

Commenting about his plans for music, he said: “I really had big plans for the year until Coronavirus struck, so we hope things get better in the coming months and maybe I can drop an album before the year ends.’’
