Popular Ghanaian musician, Akwaboah is unfazed despite the criticisms from some people in the Gospel fraternity.
Celestine Donkor was heavily rebuked after she featured Akwaboah, Efya and others on her latest song ‘Yedawase’ (Thank You).

These Gospel gatekeepers argued that it was not right for her to feature secular musicians.
Vision 1 FM presenter, Kwame OB Nartey even stated that Gospel is not for all.
Responding to critics in a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, Akwaboah said they can all sing songs of praise to Jesus Christ as long as they know him.
He stressed that nothing can stop them.

Akwaboah added that he will release more Gospel songs this year.
He wrote on Twitter: “As long as we know Jesus Christ.. we can all sing songs of praise and Worship to him..Nothing can stop us..Infact more of Gospel songs will come from me this year..”
