On Sunday, November 3, 2024, social media went agog with rumors claiming that Ghanaian actress and TikTok sensation, Asantewaa, had given birth in the USA.
These speculations gained traction after controversial Ghanaian TikToker Obaa Cee, currently based in the US, circulated a video supposedly showing Asantewaa in a hospital bed.

However, in a sharp response to these speculations, Asantewaa, took to her Snapchat and other social media pages to hilariously debunk these reports.
In a series of voice notes shared with her followers, she played recordings from her younger brother, Kay Verli, in Ghana, incredulously asking when she got pregnant and teasingly suggesting the pregnancy must have been hiding in her cheeks.
Kay Verli humorously quipped about Asantewaa giving birth without him even noticing.
Asantewaa did not end there, she also went further to share another voice note from her cousin based in the USA, expressing similar shock and confusion about the sudden news of her childbirth.
