Gospel musician, Empress Gifty Adorye while on Joy FM on Saturday afternoon for the premiere of her single titled ‘Eyewoaa’ grabbed the opportunity to send out a warm birthday message to her husband who turns age 52 today, November 20.
The NPP stalwart Hopeson Adorye got a surprise call from the host of Showbiz A-Z, George Quaye and while they were speaking, he asked that Empress Gifty should tell her husband something on his birthday.
The first words Empress Gifty uttered when she was given the opportunity were. ‘Ayigbe, I love you so much’ — a remark that got the host of the show and the other people in the studio reacting happily.
When she was asked why ‘Ayigbe’, Empress Gifty explained that it is the pet name she has given to her husband.
Mr. Adorye in reaction to this also revealed that he calls his wife ‘Mamaga’ and stated he also loves her.
