Popular Ghanaian artiste manager and music pundit Nana Asiamah Hanson known in showbiz as Bulldog has broken his silence on his arrest by the BNI (now known as NIB) after he was released earlier today.
The artiste manager who manages dancehall artiste Shatta Wale was picked up by the BNI on Saturday after he allegedly threatened President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo on UTV.
His arrest sparked a social media movement as fans called on the president to allow his release.

Speaking for the first time on Okay FM after his release, Bulldog said his intention wasn’t to threaten the president but he was only making a case for aggrieved customers of the collapsed Nam 1’s Menzgold. He however apologised for his comment although he insisted that wasn’t what he meant.
Bulldog has been a well known staunch critic of the Akuffo-Addo-led administration even before the 2020 election and has condemned the administration’s handling of affairs on several issues on many media platforms.
