Artiste Manager and Music pundit Bulldog has extended his gratitude to Former President John Dramani Mahama and his brother and Businessman Ibrahim Mahama after his release from BNI cells on Wednesday.
In a Facebook message, Bulldog singled out a number of people he is grateful to for their support during his arrest and after his release by the BNI.
He thanked his wife who he described as his “prayer pillar” for her support. The leadership of the National Democratic Congress was not left out. He also thanked the Ghana Police Service and the personnel of the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) formerly known as the BNI for their professionalism indicating that he was treated well when he was in the cells.
The outspoken artiste manager was arrested last week Saturday after he allegedly threatened President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo in the studios of UTV.
His arrest sparked the beginning of a social media, movement- the #FreeBulldog campaign to demand his release while others also called for his prosecution to serve as an example to others who might want to threaten the President.
The staunch critic of the NPP government apologised to the President after his release and made it clear he didn’t intend to threaten him.
