After all the back and forth with his managers at Angel Broadcasting Network, popular Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Blessed Godsbrain Smart popularly known as Captain Smart has finally resigned from the station he has worked at for barely a year.
The former morning show host on Angel FM (Accra) made his resignation known on Friday, May 28, 2021, during one of his Facebook live sessions on Smart TV.
He disclosed that his decision was made after he considered how selfish he would be if he goes back to the station for Dr. Kwaku Oteng to be a target of the government.
He thanked his former boss and stated emphatically that he will never go hungry even though he has resigned.
Prior to his resignation, the loud and seemingly fearless broadcaster had been taken off the radio station for allegedly insulting the vice president of Ghana, Dr. Bawumia, and other prominent political figures in Ghana.
After he was handed the suspension letter some weeks ago, Captain Smart started his own program on Facebook which streams daily on Smart TV Ghana and so far, it has caught some considerable fire.
