Celestine Donkor has advised her Sister in Christ, Patience Nyarko to focus on her career following her beef with Joe Mettle.
After Patience accused Joe Mettle of sampling his songs from Methodist and Pentecost church hymns, Celestine has asserted that it is not a must for artistes to write all of their songs.
She said it is okay for artistes to hire others to write songs for them.
The ‘Agbebolo’ singer also argued it is not wrong for artistes to do a cover version of songs.

“Patience Nyarko is a brilliant singer, she has good messages and Obi Nyanime and W’afom Kwan are great songs and she won a lot of hearts for that. I will tell her to maintain her focus, besides, it is not necessary that as an artiste, you must write your own songs.
“Some artistes are not composers, it is okay that you find someone to write for you or do cover versions. At the end of the day if Joe Mettle won like 1,000 souls with Pentecost or Methodist Hymns, that is hurray,” Celestine Donkor said in a recent interview with Joy News.
