The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has filed another contempt suit against Kwame A Plus.
A Plus, Nana Ama McBrown and Mr Logic were fined a few days ago after a discussion of Afia Schwarzenegger and Chairman Wontumi’s case on UTV’s United Showbiz program.
Following this, Chairman Wontumi has filed a new contempt suit against A Plus over his comments on the ruling.
He indicated that the social and political activist has been making contemptuous remarks about the presiding judge.

“That my counsel shall contend that the description of the judgment by the respondent as ridiculous and shameful is highly scandalous of this court. That by such statement and description, the respondent is saying that this Honourable Court’s judgement is foolish and stupid judgement. This is a direct insult to the trial judge,” part of the writ of sermons filed at the Tema High Court read.
In the first suit, Nana Ama McBrown, A Plus and Mr Logic were fine GHS 65,000 while Afia Schwarzenegger was reported to have been sentenced to 10 days imprisonment.
