Ghanaian comedian, Abdul Waris Umaru has told authorities in the country to check what’s being shown on television.
In a video sighted by Zionfelix.net, the comedian stated that contents about mallams and quick money-making schemes being shown on the various television channels are influencing the youth.
He, therefore, pleaded with the National Communication Authority (NCA) and other responsible institutions to check these channels.

Comedian Waris’ statement comes after two young boys were arrested for allegedly killing a 10-year-old boy for money rituals.
According to him, this should be blamed on the TV stations showing contents that will push the youth to seek quick money.
He also tagged Ghanaians as cowards since the genesis of the issue is not being tackled.
Waris added that Ghanaian children are at risk.
