Gospel musician, Empress Gifty Osei, who as of 28th December 2018 became known as Mrs. Gifty Adorye, has recounted the sort of harsh embarrassment she suffered at the hands of her church after her first marriage to Prophet Prince Elisha Osei collapsed.
She said that anytime her name was mentioned in her church, everybody went quiet and acted as if she was not human, just because she decided to leave a marriage that was not working for her.
The ‘Adom’ hitmaker made this sad revelation during her marriage ceremony to the Deputy National Security Coordinator in-charge of Airports, Hopeson Adorye on Friday, December 28, 2018.

She, therefore, rendered profound gratitude to God for keeping her alive to see the day that Mr. Hopeson Adorye returned her to a status that is very much appreciated in the Ghanaian society. Mrs. Adorye also thanked her husband for choosing her and promised to love him for the rest of her life.
