Many Ghanaian music fans have criticized CNN’s list of ten biggest musicians in Africa.
These music fans and industry players questioned the credibility of the list which had no Ghanaian musician.
Joining this discussion is Ghanaian music producer Brainy Beatz.
Sharing his opinion on Zion Felix’s Instagram page after a question was posed on people’s take on the list; Brainy cited the unserious exhibited by CNN.
According to him, his hope for seeing a Ghanaian musician in the list diminished after he saw that Nigeria’s Davido was not included.
He wrote: “They are not serious 😅.. .as I didn’t see Davido’s name In there I realized no Ghanaian name will pop up…very stupid list.”
The American news-based television channel mentioned Burna Boy, Angelique Kidjo, Diamond Platnumz, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Mr Eazi, Sho Madjozi, Busiswa Gqulu and Mwila Musonda, aka Slapdee as its Africa’s biggest music stars.
