Afia Amankwah Tamakloe, the host of Nkwa Hia on Adom TV, is set to host a new cooking show called Chop Time on Sunday which would be aired on Adom TV.
The show’s goal is to reach out to the masses in the society and whip up the sense of enlightenment through cooking, fun, and entertainment. The much-anticipated show is a weekly hour program.
Showing at 11: 30 am every Sunday, “Chop Time” arrives as a remarkable addition to the Multimedia channel’s already sterling line-up. It will have as its very first guest, Rebecca Asamoah this Sunday, August 26 for its premiere.
Hailing from the Upper East Region, Rebecca was also 2015 Miss Ghana2nd runner-up, and winner at the 2016 Miss Africa Continent pageant held in Johannesburg, South Africa. Ambitious and effervescent, Ms. Asamoah finally puts to bed, erroneous claims that “queens can’t cook.”
The new program is a unique cooking show which features local dishes prepared by locals. The name “Chop Time” is a unique Ghanaian term which stands for meal time or getting something to eat. The show looks at entertaining the general public as well as giving out some important tips on cooking.
It will consider the CEO, Manager, Religious Leaders, Entrepreneurs, petty trader, the street hawker, the storeowner, the yogurt seller et al. The idea is to put smiles on the faces of these people and push them to enjoy whatever they find themselves doing.
