In the midst of coronavirus pandemic, A Non-Governmental Organization, HEAN1 Foundation has donated to the people at Mallam Market.
The NGO based in the capital city of Accra, Ghana made a donation of hand sanitizers, protective gloves and nose mask to the people at the market on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
The Project Director of HEAN1 on behalf of the Executive Director, Mr Henry A. Ankrah explained to the Queen mother of Mallam market that, “though HEAN1 is into the business of drilling boreholes for deprived communities we are here today to help educate her people on some basic safety tips like frequent washing of hands with soap under running water, periodic use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers, wearing of protective gloves and nose mask, covering of mouth when sneezing or coughing and avoidance of handshake.”
The HEAN1 TEAM advised the market women on the need to adhere to precautionary measures and observe basic personal hygiene to fight coronavirus.
The Queen mother on behalf of the market woman thanked HEAN1 Foundation for intervention.
HEAN1 Foundation which was founded in the 2019 and duly registered also aims at Provision of portable safe drinking water for deprived communities through mechanized borehole drilling system in line with United Nations SDG, Girl Child Empowerment, Provision of support to distress Orphanage Homes, Education Infrastructure Development and Support. (Eliminating Schools under trees) and Gospel Outreach Programs.
Aside from these focus areas HEAN1 Foundation still remains committed to its core mandate of Touching Generational Lives.
