Ghanaian gospel musician, Uncle Ato has defended Pastors creating avenues for their members to give offerings online following the outbreak of Coronavirus.

Some Ghanaian Pastors introduced Mobile Money and other ways to enable their church members to pay offerings and tithes after a ban was placed on public gatherings as a measure to contain the spread of the disease.

This move was heavily criticized by the majority of the Ghanaian society.

But speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM which was monitored by Zionfelix.net, Uncle Ato said there is nothing wrong with the actions of these Pastors.

He explained that Christians giving to God is an opportunity for Him to bless them.

The ‘Mensuro’ singer admitted we are in difficult times but that should not prevent Christians to support the work of God.

He implored them to contribute whatever they can to support the Kingdom business.
