President of the Musicians Union of Ghana, Bice Osei Kuffour popularly known as Obour claims that corruption is swallowing Ghana and if it is not curbed immediately, it will go a long way to affect the citizens.
He made this statement at the Anti-Corruption walk organised by the music governing body of the country MUSIGA.
In his speech, he made it known that corruption is not only done by government officials, even workers in various institutions are also engaging in the act.
He gave an example that some people at the art center would try to seek favours from top officials by carving the best drums which could go for very high prices and give them out for free to officials just to be able to get favours from them.
The MUSIGA boss added that the end of corruption depends solely on the citizens and therefore they should make a conscious effort to do what is right.
