Ghanaian musician and entrepreneur, Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, popularly known as D-Black, is currently facing a difficult moment in his life as he mourns the loss of his elder brother, Stanley Blackmore.
The musician, also the CEO of Black Avenue Music, recently shared the heartbreaking news with his fans and well-wishers.

In a somber announcement posted on his social media account at the time of the sad demise of his brother, he expressed his deep sorrow, saying, “Terrible day for me. Just lost one of my big brothers. 10 of us, 1 gone too soon.”

Born to a Ghanaian mother, Adeline Boateng, and a father of half-Ghanaian and half-English descent, John Derek Blackmore, D-Black comes from a large and close-knit family of nine siblings.
Among the known siblings are Pamela Blackmore, Anthony Blackmore, George Blackmore, and the departed Stanley Blackmore.
In a bid to honor the life of Stanley Blackmore, a funeral service has been arranged to provide an opportunity for friends, family, and well-wishers to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a beloved son, brother, husband, and friend.
