D-Black has opposed Edem’s assertion that every Ghanaian artiste is hungry.
Edem in a post on Twitter, reported earlier by Zionfelix.net lamented the system in Ghana which has made musicians in the country poor.
He wrote: “EVERY ARTISTE IN GHANA IS HUNGRY. SOME MIGHT JUST NOT SAY IT….LETS ALL DO SO THE WORLD KNOWS HOW OUR SYSTEM BE YAWA ABD IN THIS CORONA TIMES ARTISTES ARE SUFFERING #Gbevunation #9god #TRUTH.”
But the CEO of Black Avenue Muzik believes otherwise. According to him, some Ghanaian artistes have made smart investments.
Rebutting to Edem’s statement, D-Black said he is not hungry and he hasn’t depended on music for over four years now.

He emphasized the need for artistes to invest in their brand and even outside music.
D-Black replied: “Not all… Some have made some smart investments bro. I haven’t had to depend on music only for over 4 years now bro.. It’s important for artists to use this situation as a reminder for the need to invest in your brand outside of art of music. It’s essential. Love g.”
