She toured the world singing and recording epic songs with Legendary Ghanaian musician, Daddy Lumba. Atea Tina was the lady whose voice we heard on a lot of Daddy Lumba’s albums.
In an interview with Zion Felix, she reveals why she stopped working with the legend after 5 years of working together.
Atea Tina told Zion Felix on the “Uncut Show” that they recorded five albums together during their five years of working together. She even had a duet album among the five to her credit while working with Daddy Lumba.
All that came to a halt after their fifth stufio album together. They returned to Ghana after the album and she found love back home, she told Zion Felix.
Not long after she found a man, they got married and lived happily ever after. She had her first son and that halted her work with Daddy Lumba.
Atea Tina revealed that it is difficult handling the industry and family together so she had to pay attention to her family. She and her husband had three more sons after the first.
