Ghanaian actor Bill Asamoah and legendary gospel group daughters of glorious Jesus have been unveiled as ambassadors for the UN sustainable development goals in Ghana by Millenium Promise Alliance.
Successive governments have in diverse ways shown Ghana’s commitment to enable public understanding of and support for the SDGs in the country and this move seeks to solidify this.
Mrs. Cynthia Appiadu, a member of daughters of glorious Jesus expressed their excitement and willingness to be a part of this initiative.
She revealed the group has always yearned to do something instrumental apart from music to help the nation and this opportunity is one that they value greatly.
Actor Bill Asamoah also pledged his support to ensure the goals are met for the ultimate good of mother Ghana.
He extended an open invitation to all actors in the country to come on board. The SDG is a set of 17 goals which aims to end poverty, fight inequality and injustice, and tackle climate change by 2030.
