In the wake of many media companies laying off some workers due to the coronavirus pandemic, it has emerged that Despite Media, owned by business tycoon Osei Kwame Despite is going to be the next media house to do the axing.

This rather heartbreaking was revealed by one of the top personalities at the company, Kwasi Aboagye during his ‘Entertainment Review’ show on Saturday.

According to Kwasi Aboagye, a recent chat he had with the Managing Director Fadda Dickson made it evident that it is a move that the company has considered after a lot of thinking and might soon execute.

During the show monitored by zionfelix.net, he stated that: “Interestingly, I had a conversation with my boss, Fadda Dickson yesterday. I was telling him a friend told me he had heard Despite Media had also laid some workers off. He told me there is an indication Despite Media would do so…”

“Media organizations have realized they’ve been very charitable so they’d use COVID-19 as an excuse to reduce the number of employees… It is not just about Multimedia, it is not just about Global Media Alliance; my Despite Media inclusive,” he added.
