Highly Spiritual artiste, Mr Drew has revealed the name of his ex-girlfriend and it appears many people are confused.
Speaking in an interview with Zion Felix on the ‘Uncut Show’, Mr Drew divulged dating one Diana Asamoah.
He mentioned how he has missed Diana Asamoah in a new song ‘Dw3’ which featured his label mate, Krymi and renowned rapper, Sarkodie.
Stirring controversy, Mr Drew capitalized on ‘I have called you by your name’ (M’abo wo din na m’afre wo) – known to a line in a popular song churned out by gospel musician-Diana Asamoah.
When Zion asked whether he was referring to the gospel musician, the ‘Gimme Love’ composer said no.
He argued that there are so many people called Diana Asamoah and his ex-girlfriend with the same name inspired the ‘Dw3’ song.
Mr Drew stressed that ‘M’abo wo din na m’afre wo’ is a plain Twi language and he is not playing smart with anybody.
His pronouncement was supported by his comrade, Krymi.
