Award-winning Ghanaian musician, Shatta Wale and his team in the late hours of Thursday, May 30, 2924, were seen at the Kotoko International Airport getting ready to fly off to Bolgatanga, Upper East region.
This was in connection with the musician’s headlined free open-air concert that Taabea Company Limited was organizing to promote one of their new products.

The event, per reports online, is supposed to come off today, Friday, May 31, 2024, at the newly refurbished Bolgatanga Sports Stadium.
Ahead of the mega concert, zionfelix.net is picking up some reports that suggest that things did not go as planned.
According to a report sighted on MyNewGh, Shatta Wale and his team were unfortunately greeted with news of a tragic road accident that claimed the life of a dispatch rider in his early 30s who was part of the convoy escorting the self-acclaimed African Dancehall King from the Tamale Airport to his hotel.
Per the report, the incident sadly occurred on the Tamale-Bolgatanga Highway when the rider who is now reportedly deceased, was leading the convoy on his motorcycle collided with another vehicle on the highway.
The report added that the impact of the collision saw the rider thrown from his motorcycle and in the process untimely losing his life.
Another blogger, Joe Elorm Dumolga, who is also believed to be in Bolgatanga has also reported the same.
The dispatch rider is reported to be one Sergeant Frempah, who studied the Law of Evidence, Criminal Procedure, and Police Ethics at the National Police Training School.
Currently, there has been no official communication from the camp of Shatta Wale or the organizers of the concert but we will certainly keep our readers in the know if anything pops up.
