Young Ghanaian talent, DJ Switch over the weekend was at the Brofoyaw A.M.E Zion School in Cape Coast to survey the institution following a report she saw on Zionfelix.net Instagram page that the school urgently needed help.
Erica Armah Bra-Bulu Tandoh as she is known in real life together with members of her DJ Switch Foundation upon their arrival at the school were sad after seeing the condition under which stunts learn. Switch and her team during a tour through the school were informed that a desk in each of the Junior high school classes was used by at least four students instead of two.
Some unlucky students who had chairs to sit on had no tables to place their books on tyhem during lecture hours. Aside the shortage of desks at the Brofoyaw A.M.E Zion School in Cape Coast, teachers of the school also had their own problems. Chairs at the staff room teachers used are properties of a church which uses the school’s classrooms for service on Sundays.
What shocked DJ Switch and her team was the I.C.T room which had no computer nor chairs for the students to use. Nana Adwoa, headmistress of the school informed them during tour that students only learn theory since the school has no computer.
The former Talented Kidz reality show winner on the day of visit gave school bags, pens and other items to the students and also promised to provide 50 desks to the school.
After the promise, she went ahead to plead with government, individuals and companies to help Brofoyaw A.M.E Zion School in Cape Coast since the condition of the school is not the best.
