Service to mankind, they say, is service to God. For some years now, kids diagnosed with holes in their hearts have been benefiting from the Gerald Asamoah Foundation.

The former Ghanaian footballer, through his foundation, has been conducting free surgeries for the kids.

Keeping up with the good and generous work, over 40 doctors and nurses have arrived in Ghana from Germany through the Gerald Asamoah Foundation.

Zionfelix.net has obtained videos of their arrival at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra.

They are set for the annual free open heart surgeries. Officials have indicated that the beneficiaries have already been selected.

Nana Bediako Brogya Sarpong, Agogo Dompiahene and founder of the Brogya Foundation – welcomed the first group of volunteer doctors and nurses from Restore Foundation for Reconstruction Surgery, Beverly Hills.

Following their arrival, the team will conduct free reconstructive surgery at the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital under the auspices of Nana Brogya Sarpong.

A section of Ghanaians have lauded the initiative and sang the team’s praises after ZionFelix shared the video on Instagram.
