Last night was indeed a good night for actress, voice-over artist, and TV show host Gloria Sarfo and I am pretty sure the one song she will be singing throughout the night will be The Black Eyed Peas’ – “I Gotta Feeling”.
After being in the Ghanaian movie industry for over a decade now, all her hard work got some recognition and it was no mean achievement.
She was deservingly recognized by The African Magic Viewers Choice Awards as the best-supporting actress for the role she played in Shirley Frimpong Manso’s movie ‘Perfect Picture; 10 Years Later’ for playing the role of a mother whose son was ‘s3xually abused’ by an older woman.
Gloria beat Nigeria’s Toni Tones, Eucharia Anunobi, Tina Mba, Mary Lazarus who were nominated for their role in ‘King of Boys’, ‘The Foreigner’s God’, ‘The Set-Up’ and ‘Size 12’ respectively to win the award.

Even though she couldn’t make it to the actual event which took place in Nigeria, the actress held a watch and dine at her private home and had a few friends in attendance.
What was, however, touching about the whole watch and dine was her ecstatic reaction when she was pronounced the winner.
Check out her celebration below and help us say a big congrats to her because she has made Ghana proud.
