VGMG boss, Edem, has taken to social media to express his displeasure about the current craze being created by people who are supposedly lookalikes of some Ghanaian musicians.

The gentleman who have been parading themselves as lookalikes of some of the top-rated musicians in Ghana have been seen granting interviews in the last few days.

There are some allegations that some of them have been charging event organizers money to perform at their events as the music act they supposedly look like without seeking the prior approval of the musicians who worked hard to make a name for themselves in the entertainment space.

In the wake of the numerous calls by some key industry players that this comes to an end, Edem also took to his social media pages to echo the same message.

In his post, Edem vehemently condemned the manner some stakeholders, especially bloggers have been fueling this activity of the supposed lookalikes.

The ‘Toto’ hitmaker bashed event organizers, bloggers, and others, for what he says to be ‘condoning and entertaining these ‘artiste look-alikes’.

His full tweet sighted by zionfelix.net reads: “What a “COUNTRY” u book a look alike to Sing songs that someone toiled all their life to perfect as a craftsman and bloggers who posting for free are the same ppl who take money to promote those who worked hard demma products ..SMH.”
