Following the successful premiere of Tracey Boakye’s ‘Baby Mama’ movie, her colleagues, Emelia Brobbey, Fella Makafui, Gloria Sarfo and others have sent their congratulatory messages to her.
Their messages came in after Tracey posted a video of a massive crowd who were eager to watch the movie at the Watch & Dine Cinema in Kumasi on Saturday.
The Ghanaian actress/producer was dumbfounded on how the patrons defied the heavy downpour to attend the premiere of ‘Baby Mama’.
Tracey wrote: “It was raining heavily in Kumasi last night, you guys still walked through the rain and did this for me? Omg … I’ve cried all night, asking God why me? Thank you Kumasi, My manager says most of you couldn’t stay for 4th show at 1am so went back home with your tickets. ‘Baby Mama’ which is the 14th self-produced movie by Tracey Boakye starred Kalybos, Lil Win, Kwaku Manu, Rosemond Brown, Vivian Jill Lawrence, Bill Asamoah, Christiana Awuni, Bernice Asare, Xandy Kamel and others.
The premiere is expected to continue at the National Theatre, Accra on the 25th of July, 2019 and at the Eusbett Hotel in Sunyani on the 3rd of August, 2019.
