Gospel music sensation, Gifty Adorye (formerly Gifty Osei) has in an exclusive interview with Stacy Amoateng disclosed that she nearly went into serious depression when she finally came to the realization that her former husband, Prophet Elisha Osei was hell burnt on seeking a divorce.
The ‘Aseda’ hitmaker revealed that her shock was borne out the constant thought of what she was going to tell people, especially her mother, who has been made to believe that she has the best marriage in the world and was indeed the best wife any man could ever wish and pray for.
Gifty Adorye added that despite being one of the people who have a very tough heart for any news, no matter how bad it is, that particular issue about her divorce made her shed a lot of tears while locked up in her room all through some days.
“…It was at this point I realize that depression is real, I had nothing taken any medicine but I was blotting…there were times I could be sitting in my room but I will not know because I will be crying from morning to evening while sitting at the same spot…” she stated.
The outspoken musician also used the interview on Stacy’s ‘Restoration Show’ to touch on how her husband called her to tell him about the divorce back in 2012 when she was in Canada.
