Ghanaian gospel musician, Mary Agyemang has explained why Evangelist Diana Asamoah cannot be her friend.
Speaking in an interview with Zion Felix on the ‘Uncut Show’, the ‘Change Over’ singer denied having any issues with Evang. Diana Asamoah.
She said the fact that they are on the same record label does not mean they should visit themselves often.
According to her, they have met about three to four times since she [Mary] ventured into the music industry.
On why she did not attend Evang. Asamoah’s ‘Abba Father’ Event both in Accra and Kumasi, Mary stated that she was not invited and she cannot go to programs uninvited.
She averred that her colleague may have her own reasons for not inviting her, but that won’t be the basis of them having problems with each other.
On her part, she doesn’t have any issues but if Diana thinks she has faulted her in any way, she disclosed her readiness to apologize to her if she makes it known to her.
Mary Agyemang stressed that Evang. Diana Asamoah is older than her, age-wise and in the gospel music scene—and everybody may have his/her tight friend, so because of these, they cannot be friends.
However, Mary indicated that she will seek advice from her when the need arises.
