Rising Ghanaian musician, Fameye has reacted to a recent comment made by Shatta Wale on his ‘247’ music video which featured KiDi.

Shatta Wale in a recent interview on Zylofon FM pointed out how the productions of sub-standard music videos have been a hindrance for musicians to have their videos make waves in other countries.

“Our videos are not even crossing to Nigeria because of the standard. We are trying to look like we are shooting videos but if you check the props and everything you realise that a lot of things are missing.”

“Recently I was watching a video but I don’t want anybody to feel bad about it. I was watching Fameye and KDi’s video and I was like it was sad. If I say poor, they will feel bad,” he stated.

Reacting to this in an interview monitored by Zionfelix.net on Okay FM, Fameye said Shatta Wale is very experienced in the music business, so he won’t begrudge him on his comment.

He stated that he will take his advice in a good faith—and make some changes in his subsequent music videos.

Fameye, however, indicated he thought the music video in question was his best following his emergence in the music scene.

He took solace in the fact that he is a young musician who has a lot to learn—as Shatta Wale also learned some things before he reached where he is now.
